Dear LLTIers,
Our language learning centre is currently run and staffed by the library, and is under review. We are catering for all languages taught in our university (4 separate schools from within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences)
I am interested in gauging how many Higher Ed language resource/learning centres are funded and managed
- by the university’s library (collection only, how many languages does it cater for, and/or not including teaching labs, self-access labs)
- by your faculty or language department
- as a separate entity within the university (English FL Learning Centre for e.g.)
- or hybrid (the collection managed by the library and the facilities/labs either run by the language department, facilities management or ITS)

Thanking you kindly.
