I think the visual feedback can be helpful but the student has to have an informed  
understanding of what it represents. It's not a game but something to be understood.  
It does take time to do right, too.

A representative from TMM is visiting our campus tomorrow, and I plan to ask about  

voice recognition and sound wave visualization. I, too, have serious doubts about  

that aspect of the program.
