Hi, Alex,
You might try Writely.com, a free online word processer, i.e. wiki, which allows
for the posting of both images and text. We're currently using it as the wiki
for German Online courses here at Penn State.

Speaking of multimedia, I know this has been thrown around before, and
so humbly apologize for clogging inboxes, but where would one go to
learn about setting up blogs and wiki's for one's classes, or is there
software one would purchase for these things?
Very Respectfully,
Alex
