Subject: Upcoming IALLT Elections: Feb 14 through Feb 28 2011
To: Language Learning and Technology International Information Forum <[log in to unmask]>
Greetings:
On February 1st, the IALLT Election Committee had the opportunity to speak
with the 5 candidates for President-elect and ask them a series of
questions. That conversation was recorded and edited and has been posted to
the IALLT website.
To access the recordings, IALLT members can go to http://www.iallt.org, log
in to the site, click on the purple ELECTIONS block in the right side bar,
and then click on the link for the President-elect candidates. There you
will find the links for the personal statements of the Candidates as well as
the audio recordings.
Please note that *only IALLT members* can access these materials. To create
or renew your membership, please visit

From February 14th through February 28th, the polls will be open and
members will be able to cast their votes online for President-elect and
Treasurer.
To vote, simply return to the elections page (http://www.iallt.org/elections)
and click on the links for President Elect and Treasurer. Your ballots will
appear when the polls are open.
In the event that a candidate does not achieve a winning margin (5% of the
total votes cast), a run-off election will be held during the first week of
March.
Please contact me if you have any questions,
Barbara Sawhill
