The University of Vermont seeks to hire a Coordinator for its Language
Resource Center.
Essential duties are to coordinate the audio and multimedia resource center
for University language instruction; advise and train faculty and students
in use of available instructional resources; supervise student employees;
maintain facility; maintain knowledge of developments in instructional
technology; and oversee related budgets, with supervision from Assistant
Dean of Arts & Sciences.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in related field and two to three
years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and
experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be
acquired. Knowledge of at least one of following languages
required: French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, Hebrew, Chinese,
Japanese, Latin, Ancient Greek. Knowledge of information technology and
computer trouble-shooting skills required.
