Collaboration Across Languages: A Case Study Technology Demonstration

Presented by Luca Giupponi and Yingfei Chen

2:00 pm Eastern, 1:00 pm Central, 12:00 pm Mountain, 11:00 am Pacific / 7:00 pm UTC-GMT

In 2013, the Center for Language Teaching Advancement at Michigan State University initiated a project that would involve faculty from several languages who would develop materials for online or blended courses. The goals of the project were to pool resources and provide a collaborative environment for faculty in the hope that this initiative would produce technology-enhanced courses, while at the same time maintaining high quality language programs. The presenters will talk about this collaboration, how it works, and lessons learned from the process.
