Word 2011 Mac "find" command. Has anyone been able to make this work?
You cand bring the old small "find" window up with a keyboard or a menu command
If you try pasting something in the find box on the top right-hand corner of your Word document, it pastes into the text where you left the cursor.
How is this command sequence for intuitive:
command + shft + H
this produces a complex command winow to the left of the text.
click on the cog wheel icon below a "find" command form
go to the last item: "find and replace"
lift finger from mouse
the old "find" command box appears. Yes, you can "paste" stuff there and look for it.
Please tell me that because I am 65 years old, I cannot find the obvious intuitive routine. If not, I can tell you why Microsoft stock is not going anywhere.
