Hi,

I found out quite by accident that Google Docs is a great way to take pdf and convert it to word. If you upload to google docs, you're asked if you want to convert to the google doc format and if you want to convert to text from pdf or image files. Say "yes". Then you can downlad the converted doc from google doc format to word or rtf format. You may have to reformat a bit, but it works pretty well.

Free, simple, and it works!

Carol
