I'd like to add my thanks to Otmar for starting and maintaining the listserv all these years. It has been an invaluable resource -- and I'm delighted Tom has stepped forward to take it over.

I want to add my heartfelt thanks to Otmar for all his many years of service and his remarkable stewardship of the lLLTI list. He set the standard for the list very high indeed and we all benefited from his dedication. And special thanks to Tom Garbelotti for his willingness to step into this role.
Warm regards,
Sue Otto

Greetings!

[cid:image003.jpg@01D23386.71EAC050]As many of you know, LLTI, the Language Learning Technology International listserv<http://iallt.org/resources/llti-listserv/>, is a service of IALLT and the Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning<http://languageconsortium.org/>. It was first created by Otmar Foelsche over 30 years ago and hosted by Dartmouth College where he worked for many years. Otmar moderated the LLTI list serve since the time he created it.

LLTI has proven to be a vital conduit of information and a professional support life line for many of us in the language learning technology community. Upon his retirement and over the last several months Otmar has transitioned the task of moderating LLTI to Thomas Garbelotti of UCLA. IALLT is hugely grateful to Otmar for running LLTI effectively for over 30 years and making such a valuable resource available to the language learning technology community.

IALLT also appreciates Tom’s willingness to serve in this important role.

I know many of you join me in thanking Otmar for his services, and welcoming Tom to his new role.

Best,
Sangeetha
~ IALLT’s 26th President ~
