>Strong candidates for this position will have a broad range of

>Responsibilities:
>* Maintain 4th Dimension collection and circulation database,
>including programming enhancements and fixing bugs in the existing
>code and data; provide training and support for staff in the use of

>* Provide primary technical support for LMC network systems,
>including installation and management of LMC ITC networked software,
>of software and systems in the LMC multimedia development studio, LMC
>video and Web servers, and of LMC administrative computer systems and

>Requirements include Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS, or
>combination of education and relevant experience; database
>programming experience; experience with Macintosh and Windows
>operating systems; experience with Web development tools and
>familiarity with Web servers; strong communication skills.

>Desirable qualifications include experience with 4D database
>software, Novell Netware, and Java, experience with development of
>multimedia and instructional software, delivery of streaming media
>(especially video) and working with and training users. Knowledge of
>a language other than English and experience in foreign language
>learning environments are also desirable.
