I can't make ACTFL, but would love to hear more about what Kahn is  doing.
It was mentioned at CIT last month.  Let me find my  notes

Ugh -- it was tantalizingly brief :( ... Dr Mark Taylor was presenting on
the "generations" and mentioned:


KahnAcademy … deliver  content before class, then do work in class
Tutoring from a  distance
Material posted for  convenience
Was video (not live) … meets  their learning at any time, can rewind /
re-watch , in live class can be  embarrassing to admit can’t get it as fast as
the others,
1.      Set lectures online
2.     Practice skills IN  class

But when he did mention it, lightbulbs started going off in my head.  :)
