Hi Margo,

I've had good experience in the past with the Sanako SLH-07 (see link below).
Pros:  Indestructable, replaceable modular components (mic, windscreen, cable, earpads, etc)
Cons: Expensive, not technically noise cancelling, fixed mic boom, not super adjustable

Koss also makes great headsets.  Several full size noise cancelling options with mics at the link below:
Pros:  Noise cancelling, variety of interface options (USB, 3.5mm), adjustable boom mic and headband
Cons: Potential mechanical fail points at adjustment joints, not as durable
