It’s Easy Being Green: Networking with the Dartmouth Alumni Council

* Soliciting applications for The Ford Foundation Fellowships for Life
Sciences Research.  *

We have a posting on Trialect https://app.trialect.com/ soliciting
applications for The Ford Foundation Fellowships for Life Sciences
Research. This year the program will award approximately 36 dissertation
fellowships, 24 postdoctoral fellowships, and 60 predoctoral fellowships.
Fellowships are tenable at any fully accredited, non-proprietary (not
for profit) U.S. institution of higher education. An applicant need not
be accepted by the chosen institution at the time of application. As the
application deadline is Monday, November 10, 2016, we are reaching out
to see if you can refer your fellows/junior investigators to this

Brad DeMay, PhD, is a Director at The Beacon Group (consulting). After
graduating with his PhD from Dartmouth, Brad continued on to earn his
MBA at the Tuck School.

Juan R. Cubillos-Ruiz, PhD, is an assistant professor of microbiology
and immunology in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the
Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medicine. 




* Montgomery Fellow Lunch *

Come have lunch with Montgomery Fellow, David Montgomery. David
Montgomery, a recent recipient of the MacArthur Foundation’s “Genius
Grant,” is the Dean's Professor of Environmental Science Writing in the
Department of Earth & Space Sciences at the University of Washington,
Seattle, specializing in geomorphology. Lunch provided. Location: The
Montgomery House, across from Dick's House.
