October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month
In honor of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Geisel School of Medicine will be hosting Dr. Annie Lewis-O’Connor to discuss the clinical impacts of intimate partner violence and interpersonal violence, as well as trauma informed care.
Dr. Lewis-O’Connor is the Founder and Director of the C.A.R.E Clinic (Caring Approach to Recovery & Empowerment) which provides patient and trauma informed health care to those who have been intentionally harmed by violence. She holds Faculty Appointments at Harvard Medical School and Boston College.
