Dan,
I don't think you can perform any useful comparison here. FileMaker Server's hosting model is quite different, as is their licensing model. Take a look at the FMS pricing in the FileMaker Store to get a sense of the costs just for licensing FMS (let alone all the other costs involved in hosting.
