We are excited to have Dean Karlan<https://www.kellogg.northwestern.edu/faculty/directory/karlan_dean.aspx> (Kellogg) as our household finance speaker at 12:15pm in Volanakis (Tuck) on September 6. Lunch begins at 11:45am.
His research focuses on microeconomic issues of poverty, typically employing experimental methodologies and behavioral economics insights to examine what works, what does not, and why in interventions in sustainable income generation for those in poverty, household and entrepreneurial finance, health behavior, and charitable giving.
We are waiting for a paper from him. His CV is attached.
