Hi all!


Just wanted to send a quick thank you to everyone who made the DOC Nordic Ski Club's inaugural season a success. A few months ago the club didn't even exist and by winter's end we had 94 people on the listserv, 20+ regulars at practice and nearly 40 outings under our belt including the Silver Foxtrot and a biathlon clinic in Strafford. AWESOME WORK!


To keep the club's momentum going into the future, Jake Rost and Phoebe Novello will be taking over the leadership of the club. Both Jake and Phoebe dedicated lots of time to the club this winter and I'm confident they will do an excellent job overseeing the club next year. If you would like to join Jake and Phoebe on the Nordic club leadership team (e.g. manage the budget, handle the gear order, organize outings, plan a winter/spring break trip, schedule social events, etc), shoot me, Jake and Phoebe an email.


A quick note from Mike Silverman in DOR: If you left your ski gear in the Oak Hill Nordic hut over the winter and haven't retrieved it yet, get in touch with Mike. He has unclaimed ski gear to give back to rightful owners.
