Looks like a pretty cool event.

The DCS is sponsoring this fantastic opportunity to have lunch with Grammy
and Oscar winning musical artist, and songwriter of Kanye West's "Jesus
Walks", Che ‘Rhymefest’ Smith, and film directors/producers/writers Ricki
Stern ‘87 & Annie Sundberg. The trio will be on campus for a screening of
their film *In My Father’s House (*view trailer
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea4zi-am1m0>), which explores identity and
legacy in the African-American family as Che reconnects with his long-lost
father whom he presumed was dead. This film looks very powerful and dives
deep into larger issues such as homelessness, addiction, community, and
identity.
*When: *Thursday, April 7th, 12 - 12:50 pm
*Where: *South Fairbanks 105
*What: *Lunch & a conversation about the larger themes of the film and how
your local service work connects to larger national issues.
*RSVP: *RSVP here -- http://bit.ly/1RxsARq
