Hi Dan,

I am potentially interested but still figuring out my schedule. Do you have a list of the people already signed up for the trip? Also, does it cost extra money to get PE credit, and if so, how much?

We only have three spots left for this sea kayaking seminar.   Financial aid and PE Credit is available, but the deadline for signing up via Banner for PE credit is this evening (Thurs. 4/6):

Outdoor Programs is sponsoring a sea kayaking workshop in the Bay of Fundy, which is known for its phenomenal scenery and diverse marine life. We will be working with Seascapes Kayak Tours, which operates off Deer Island in the Bay. Seascapes and its founder Bruce Smith have a reputation for their great environmental stewardship, skills, safety, and effective teaching approach.
We will be driving from Hanover on June 12 and returning by the same route on June 18. The 5-day sea kayaking seminar will take place from June 13-17.
What: 5 day / 4 night sea kayaking workshop with lessons on: • sea kayak skills and rescues
• local knowledge – tides/currents/weather/ocean ecosystems • trip planning, chart work, packing • group dynamics • environmental ethics
$: DOC student members ($500, financial aid available); non-DOC students ($525); faculty/staff ($625); community members ($750)
