Hey Everybody!

I hope everyone had a fun spring break and is having a great first week of classes! Spring is finally here, sort of, which means mountain biking will be back before we know it.

Unfortunately, as you can see from taking a glance outside, there is still a fair bit of snow on the ground. This means that there will be at least three more weeks before we can get riding, since we don’t want to damage the trails for the rest of the season by riding too early.

That being said, there is still a lot to do to prepare for the riding season! 10 brand new Rocky Mountains arrived over break and they look sick! 120 mm of front travel and 27.5 plus size tires will be a ton of fun to throw around on the trails. (This dude is riding one)

Here are a few things to keep on your radar for the next few weeks:

-Closet clean out day (The closet is unorganized and crowded)

-Trail work days at Oak Hill and Boston Lot

-Opportunities to work towards becoming a DMBC leader

-Selling of retired Rocky Mountain fleet

I’ll be blitzing out about these as they come up so stay tuned.

Finally, our first club meeting will be next Wednesday, April 5th at 8 pm

We’ll meet to discuss these things and more!

Looking forward to an awesome term!

Thanks, Peter
