Hi folks,

If you’d be interested in working to support a faith-based, non-denominational canoe pilgrimage on the Connecticut River this summer, here’s a great opportunity:

****

Co-coordinator for River of Life Pilgrimage — June 17-July 10 (24-hours a day/7-days a week for this time period…breaks as available, but on-call for the duration)

(For more information about the pilgrimage, see the link here: http://kairosearth.org/river/)

* Assist with the overall logistical coordination of the Pilgrimage

* Assist at Pilgrimage events as the liaison between the local event planners and the Pilgrimage coordinator and guides

* Load/unload canoes & kayaks on the trailer to shuttle pilgrims & their gear

* Shuttle pilgrims to/from the river and their overnight accommodations

* Be able to collect pilgrim donations at events (via Square reader technology)

* Bi-weekly resupply of guides & pilgrims on the water

REQUIRED:

* Driver’s license + proof of insurance

* Familiarity with map reading and outdoor logistics

* Physical ability to load/unload canoes & kayaks & equipment

* Bonus: having your own vehicle you’re willing to bring along (ideal with car-top rack for a vessel)

PAY:

* $3,000 for the duration of dates listed above, plus 4-5 hours prior to June 17 for “get up-to-speed” conversations via phone/video conference

* lodging and food (camping or host-church undercrofts)

Interested?: For more information or to apply, write to Pilgrimage guides Mark and Lisa Kutolowski at:[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
