Interested in working for the National Park Service, Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, or Fish and Wildlife Service this summer?

All of these agencies have summer positions open to college students as rangers, trail crews, biologists, visitor use assistants (still not entirely sure what that position entails), geologists, wildland firefighters, and more. If you are interested in working for the federal government this coming summer, applications will start becoming available over winter break (and many will be due over winter break). The applications all run through the same system (USAJobs) and there are some tips that can make the application process much easier/more successful.

Tomorrow from 6:30 to 7:30 in Collis 218 I will be talking about some of the things I learned through the application process, giving an overview of the process, and talking about my experience in Yellowstone this summer. It will be very informal and you should bring your dinner if you only have time for a short study break.

Hope to see you there!
Gerben
