*Trips Applications are due by THIS Tuesday - March 26th!*

Be a part of welcoming the Class of 2017 to Dartmouth this fall! If you
have a genuine interest in making the newest members of this community feel
welcomed, supported, and included; if you are excited to introduce incoming
students to some of the beautiful New Hampshire outdoors; if you think
Trips has the potential to build a stronger, more cohesive community at
Dartmouth, *we'd like to invite you to be a part of of DOC Trips 2013 as a
trip leader or croo member! *

Applications to be lead a trip and be on a croo are now available
online<https://www.dartmouth.edu/~doc/firstyeartrips/leaders/applications/>...and
are *due Tuesday March 26th* (second day of spring term). The trip leader
application is completed entirely online while the croo application must be
printed out and submitted to the DOC Trips office. You *don't** *need to be
funny, in love with Dartmouth, quiet, have amazing dance moves (hi Gerben),
or even have gone on a first-year trip yourself to be involved in welcoming
the Class of 2017. The only requirement is an interest in creating a fun,
thoughtful welcome for the newest members of this community.

Some (*but not all!*) of the croos require some specific skills, so if you
have experience with any of the following, please consider applying:

   - *Lodj Croo Kitchen Witch/Wizard* -- Requires prior full-time
experience working at the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge.
   - *Safety Dorks* -- All croos need students who have advanced medical
certifications (OEC, EMT, W-EMT, WFR, etc...)
   - *Grant Croo* -- Requires some prior paddling experience.
   - *Climbing Croo* -- Requires some prior climbing experience.
   - *Oak Hill Croo* -- If you have an interest in or prior experience with
mountain biking, this croo works with the mountain biking & ropes course
   trips.

DOC Trips evolves & changes every year because of the volunteers who make
it happen; if you have ideas or suggestions for the program, we want to
hear them. Please stop by the Trips office in Robinson Hall 117 or send us
an email <[log in to unmask]> if you have any questions or just want
to chat!

Love,
DOC Trips Directorate 2013
