DOCers,

Some of you may already know, and others will now become aware, that there has been an effort to establish a signed and mapped network of mountain biking trails on Oak Hill. Much progress has been made and we are now seeking input regarding signs.

A prototype has been made and photos of it are posted on Picasa: http://picasaweb.google.com/thomas.j.collier/OakHillTrailSign?feat=directlink

If this matter interests you, please take the time to look at the photos and provide the club with advice.

The feedback that would be most helpful includes:

1) Suggestions for improvements on the prototype or reasons another sign design should be used.
2) Thoughts on the usefulness of having a universal standard for all DOC mountain biking trails.
3) Other opinions regarding trail signs on Oak Hill

Thank you, and I hope you are all getting out and enjoying the summer this weekend.
-Tom

P.S. Timely responses would be most appreciated as we would like to move forward with signage as soon as possible!
