Our annual hunting trip to the Second College Grant is coming up on October 16-18. We will be hunting ruffed grouse and woodcock.  I've gotten reports that it was a very good year for grouse nesting, so we are in for a great time.  A group of alumni will be joining us and will bring their dogs.  Our trips to the Grant are always a lot of fun and the alumni work hard to make it special.  The Grant is beautiful in the fall and staying in Peaks Cabin is an experience to say the least.  Our plan is to leave the afternoon of Friday the 16th and return the afternoon of Sunday the 18th. We will hunt all Saturday and again on Sunday morning. Last year everyone but one person (you know who you are) harvested at least 1 bird.

To be eligible for this trip you must have a hunter's education certification.  Space will be limited to 12 people, so please get those applications in if you are interested.  The application deadline is Saturday, October 3rd.
