We have Course Design workshops coming up during interim:

Harmonizing your Course Design in Canvas
This series is designed to introduce faculty to two steps in the course design process, writing effective learning outcomes and designing assessments. Each session will also cover how to integrate these steps into your Canvas site design.

Part 1: Monday Dec. 8, 10:00-noon.  (coffee & snacks provided)
Outcomes What do you want your students to know at the end of your course and what do you want them to be able to do with that knowledge? In this session you will write effective student learning outcomes.

Part 2: Wednesday, Dec 10, 12:00pm – 2:00pm (lunch provided)
Working on feedback and assessment early in the course development process makes it easier to develop effective teaching and learning activities. In this session, we will discuss principles of good feedback and assessment.
