Please join us Thursday for Teaching Science Seminar:

Teaching Science Seminar: What can you do to keep students in STEM majors?, 12:15pm - 1:15pm, Thursday, February 9, 2017
Retention of a more diverse population of students in STEM majors is an issue at Dartmouth and many other universities. In this session, we will read case studies<http://scholarcommons.usf.edu/numeracy/vol1/iss1/art5/> about students who faced struggles in STEM classes at Dartmouth—written by Dartmouth faculty—to identify specific strategies that you can adopt to ensure that all students pursue their intended majors. Lisa Baldez<http://dartmouth.edu/faculty-directory/lisa-baldez> (DCAL) will lead this conversation.
Lunch will be provided, please register for this session here: http://libcal.dartmouth.edu/event/3051671

Have a great week!
Elaine
