Subject: Ivy Plus Director of Resource Sharing Initiatives

Folks,

It pleases me to report that we selected Heidi Nance to be our Ivy Plus Director of Resource Sharing Initiatives and she has enthusiastically agreed to serve in this newly established role. Heidi--as many of you know her personally--hails from the University of Washington where she serves as the Head, Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Services / Information Resources and Scholarly Communications Strategic Projects Librarian. H. Carton Rogers informed the other ULs earlier today. It is worth noting that we have agreed to allow Heidi to work remotely and will start working on a campus visit plan in the near future. Her start date is June 15. I will draft a press release to distribute later this week.

Many thanks to the search committee* and Policy Group members for your time, engaging questions and thoughtful comments on the candidates.

And, a final thanks to Peter Collins. Peter has been managing BorrowDirect since 2009. We are a better partnership because of Peter. I would like to express my utmost gratitude for his extraordinary service.
