Dear fellow members of the Dartmouth community,

Mediation at Dartmouth (M@D) is a newly established organization on campus that will be working in conjunction with the Ethics Institute and the Deans Office to run a peer mediation program. Mediators, composed of students and faculty, will be trained to mediate between conflicting parties (between individual students, campus groups and faculty), as an alternative to disciplinary judiciary action.

M@D is now accepting applications for M@D peer mediators for Spring 2012. The attached application contains more details on responsibilities and time commitments as a Dartmouth peer mediator.

If you wish to apply, please fill out the attached application, and blitz the M@D account ([log in to unmask]) by 5 pm on Friday, March 30.
If you have any questions, feel free to blitz the M@D account!

Believing that Conflict Resolution>Punishment,
The M@D Executive Board
