COLLABORATIVE ART INSTALLATION
Brought to you by the Office of Sustainability and This Is Not a Group
Ever wanted to make a massive trash sculpture? experiment with new materials? Or spend an afternoon making art with your friends? Now's your chance to unleash your inner artist!

Come on down to the student gallery (SW corner of the VAC- turn right after you enter from the spider) in the brand new Black Family Visual Arts Center *this weekend* and draw, paint, sculpt, work on your own pieces, or collaborate on a large group installation using found and recycled materials. This term our theme is Art and Activism, as explored through the issues of poverty and sustainability. We will have information and sources of inspiration for both topics- just bring an open mind!

Open studio is on Friday 3 - 7pm, Saturday 12 - 6pm, and Monday (1/28) 8 - midnight, but feel free to come by anytime from Friday to Monday- supplies will be there for your use!

We will have art supplies, "trash", found and recycled materials, music, food, magazine, super interesting sustainability movies screening while we work!

Feel free to bring your own supplies as well- anything from empty bottles to old magazines to ripped t-shirts to broken furniture can be used!

ABSOLUTELY NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED!
