Undergrads, please stop by The Ceramics Studio this week (lower level Hopkins Center) if you'd like to get on a list for our 4-week "Intro to Potter's Wheel" classes, Summer Term. Please note that "throwing" on the potter's wheel has a very high learning curve and takes a lot of practice!


 4 sessions, either Wednesdays: June 26, July 3, 10, 17, 1 - 2:30pm  OR

 Mondays: July 1, 8, 15, 22, 2:30-4 pm


  *   Intro to Potter's Wheel (For Novices): $20 for 4 classes; plus $12 per term user fee. Sign up in person in The Ceramics Studio. Space is very limited!

“Throwing” on the potter’s wheel is a complex set of skills to learn which requires practicing in addition to attending classes. This introductory class focuses on learning basic wheel throwing skills in four cumulative sessions. By completion most students will be able to "throw" a basic cylinder on the wheel. Please do not sign up if unable to attend all 4 classes!
