The Tucker Center stands in solidarity with the Native American community in light of the egregious "Vintage Dartmouth Indian Gear" advertisements posted on college residences and buildings early the morning of October 13th.

As an organization that works to cultivate a deep sense of meaning and purpose on campus, we are appalled by the disrespect shown towards members of our community with Native heritage. As such, we condemn the bigotry demonstrated toward the Native American community in the strongest terms.

We also invite all to join us in taking a moment to reflect on the difficulties faced by Native American students at Dartmouth every day and to commit to striving to make our community inclusive for everyone.

Tucker Center

The William Jewett Tucker Center inspires and supports members of the Dartmouth community to cultivate a deep sense of meaning and purpose through spiritual, ethical and moral exploration and engagement.
