The Dickey Center is excited to announce two internship opportunities with VOICE 4 Girls in India.
Founded by Dartmouth Alum Averil Spencer '10, VOICE 4 Girls is a women-empowerment NGO in Hyderabad, India that works with middle school and high school-aged girls from low-income backgrounds. VOICE uses education to empower, teaching the young women spoken English and knowledge about health, nutrition, and women's rights.
The Dickey Center will partner with VOICE to sponsor two funded internships in the upcoming academic year:
* CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT INTERN: Fall term 2014; Applications due 5/14/2014
* MEDIA & CURRICULUM INTERN: Winter or Spring term 2015 (depending on the D-plan and interests of the selected student); Applications due in fall term of 2014
