American Moor, Bentley Theater
Monday, October 20th, 7pm,
This intelligent, intuitive, indomitable, large, black, American male actor explores Shakespeare's Othello, race, and America... and not necessarily in that order. The play, written and featuring Mr. Cobb, is the exploration of one African-American actor's relationship with Othello, America, and Race, and how that translates into a pervasive sense of "Otherness," an immigrant in one's own land. Free and open to the public. Tickets are complimentary. Post show discussion. Directed by Olivia Scott
