GLOBAL CHINA CONNECTION DANDELION SCHOOL PROJECT TEAM

Located in Daxing District in rural Beijing, the Dandelion Middle School serves the children of migrant workers in Beijing. Most migrant workers and their families lack hukou, or the residential permit that grants their children access to public schools in the cities where they work. Despite being one of the more successful schools that provide affordable education to these children, Dandelion still struggles with its limited resources in infrastructure and qualified staff.
