WHAT: PAID College prep and SAT coaching to underserved and motivated students.


WHEN: As many days per week as you are available (either 1,2,3, or 5 days) during the Fall and Winter terms.

Let's Get Ready is a national non-profit organization that provides free SAT and College Prep for high school students who can't afford it. With the mission of "Students helping students to get to college," Let's Get Ready pairs college student "coaches" with classes of 3-6 driven students from under-resourced schools. As a coach, you will teach one section of the SAT to a small group of students one day or night a week. There is a teaching manual from which to base your lessons, but you're also welcome to create your own lessons if you prefer. It's fun and rewarding!



Coaches will be paid $12/hour


The schools are located over an hour from campus, so please factor the travel time into your application decision. Travel can be provided. If you have a car and choose to drive yourself, you will be compensated for mileage. Because of the travel time, we are especially interested in students currently on Hanover FSP's
