An uprising against the government of Bashar Al-Assad that began in March 2011 has transformed into a civil war, leaving a catastrophic humanitarian crisis in its wake. To date, 140,000 people have been killed and about 2.5 million have become refugees, about half of them children. Over 4 million more are internally displaced within Syria and millions more still need humanitarian assistance. Come together with the rest of the Dartmouth community to learn about the scope of this conflict and what you can do to help. ?
