Interested in global health, social justice, or health equity? Want to find
a great community on campus?
Come to GlobeMed at Dartmouth's Info Session!
Tomorrow, Monday, 9/21 @ 8 pm in Carson 60!
GlobeMed is a national non-profit organization that focuses on addressing
global health inequities. GlobeMed partners college chapters with
grassroots organizations around the world. Our chapter, *GlobeMed at
Dartmouth*, is partnered with Kachin Women's Association Thailand (*KWAT*),
located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. KWAT aims to support and empower Kachin
refugees who were forced to leave their homes and relocate to the
Burma-Thailand border. GlobeMed at Dartmouth hosts various fundraising
campaigns for KWAT to help support their annual projects and additionally
engages in a yearly curriculum of discussions and activities on global
health issues to educate and raise awareness.
*GlobeMed is for anyone and everyone!*
