Positions available in for design, photography and Snapchat.
(No equipment or formal experience required)

Design creates graphics for articles, that can consist of digital designs, hand-drawn sketches, paintings, or a combination of multiple mediums. Their work can appear alongside articles in sections ranging from opinion to sports, or even the front page of the Mirror magazine. Photographers have unique access to events and speakers and have an amazing opportunity to build a photography portfolio! This term alone, D photographers have photographed Yo-Yo Ma, Leslie Odom Jr. and President Hanlon! Want to experience a basketball game court-level or a soccer game on the field? You can do all of that as a  photographer as well as learn critical Lightroom and Photoshop skills in the photojournalism workflow! The Snapchat section works to create a weekly Campus Publisher story which appears on the Discover page in the Snapchat app. Positions can include anything from brainstorming and writing articles (can you write a list of the best bathrooms for mirror selfies on campus?) to graphic design and animation.
