National food day is a celebration of local, organic, sustainable and most importantly
GOOD FOOD!

In celebration of national Food Day, consider taking the following steps towards
a more sustainable food system:
Support local farmers (Grab one of the local apples from the surrounding local
farms at DDS)
Eat more whole foods especially Veggies and Fruits (Try grabbing a salad from
one of the salad bars, or pass by the Herbivore at 53 Commons)
Avoid Processed Food (Lay of those chips, grab an apple instead!)

To find out more about National Food Day, check out http://foodday.org/

Make a commitment to eating GOOD food this whole week in celebration of this day
by:

1. Going to an Ecovores meeting this Thursday to talk about and eat GOOD FOOD
2. Buying some food at the farmers market to support local farms and businesses

3. Cooking a home cooked meal with some friends
4. But most importantly think about where your food comes from!!
