Dinner with Professor Lisa Baldez


Lisa Baldez is Professor of Government and Latin American, Latino, and Caribbean Studies at Dartmouth. Her recent book, Defying Convention: US Resistance to the UN Treaty on Women's Rights, was awarded the 2015 Victoria Schuck Prize for the best book on women and politics.



Professor Baldez serves as director of the Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning, where she works to enhance Dartmouth classroom experiences. She is currently overseeing the Experiential Learning Initiative, a key piece of President Hanlon's vision of making Dartmouth a place of "around-the-clock learning." Professor Baldez wants to hear from you!
