Interested in a paid opportunity to improve Dartmouth?
Want to contribute to the conversation around sexual violence (no experience necessary)?
Join the SVPP STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD
No prior experience in sexual violence prevention needed. Time commitment is only 2-3 hours per week, compensation provided.
Working on the Student Advisory Board will allow you to develop professional skills for your resume: design thinking/human-centered design, motivational interviewing, policy planning, and more!
The Student Advisory Board assists in the ongoing development and implementation of the Sexual Violence Prevention Project by:
- contributing their ideas and opinions and representing their peer groups' voices (like an undergraduate Think Tank)
- using Design Thinking methodology to help guide implementation
- helping disseminate information about SVPP to their peers
- participating in and helping recruit peers for focus groups and program pilots
