About Terren: Originally from Edgemont, New York, Terren Klein (D’17) is the Co-Founder of Pulse. Graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College in June, he majored in Government with a concentration in political theory and public opinion polling. In his senior year, he pursued an independent study in the Government department researching the impact of survey results on personal opinions. Since his Freshman year, Terren has been involved with the Tucker Center—Dartmouth’s Center for Spiritual and Ethical Living—and served as a Student Director during his Junior year. Outside of Dartmouth, Terren has worked for the US Embassy in Argentina, the Office of US Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Public Religion Research Institute, and Bridgewater Associates. Since graduation, he has continued to work in New Hampshire on his startup, Pulse–a community-based survey platform that is improving the way organizations collect and understand the opinions of their constituents.
