Hey film lovers!

TONIGHT! We will discuss "the cinematic experience" and the future of film. I printed an article last week about how Lincoln almost ended up as an HBO Special instead of Oscar bait, but we never got around to discussing it. So, here's the link if you want to look it over before the meeting--I'll also print it again:

Also, we had 184 people for Rebecca this week, and 900 for Despicable Me 2--this seems as good a week as any to talk about memorable theater experiences. What makes seeing a film in the theater different from watching it at home? Anecdotes are welcome!

And, best of all, we're going to try out the new Thai restaurant tonight!

See you at 6,

Johanna
