Dear Friends,

At tonight's Theology on Tap, we'll discuss the importance and function of rights of initiation in faith. Baptism is perhaps the most accessible of these to many of us, and I think it's telling that different Christian sects in America go about it in such distinct ways. What does it mean to be initiated into a religion? To what extent is such an initiation an individual or communal choice? What is the merit of teaching a child a system of belief? What right do we have to choose one as adults?

Join us tonight at 9pm at Salt Hill to consider these questions and more over free drinks and cheesy fries. We hope to see you there!

Peace,

Peter,
