PoliTALK and First Year Forum are having a combined meeting this week! Come
for discussion on self-defense laws in general, and the particular issues
around the Florida case.

***********************************

Since the Trayvon Martin case, Stand Your Ground laws in a number of states
are under scrutiny.

1. Where should the limits of self defense be?

2. Should there always be a "duty to retreat"? In homes? In public?

3. Do these laws encourage vigilantism?

4. And finally, how does the theory interact with the realities of the
Martin case?

We will tackle these questions and more at this week's PoliTALK.

Feel free to drop by to share/hear great conversation.
