announcing our events for the week, andddd....

Dartmouth's third annual spring break sugar crew!
Have you ever wondered how maple syrup is made? Would you like to
experience the process from tree to bottle, and occupy yourself over spring
break? *Check out the short attached application for sugar crew (it is
pretty short, but please do read the info to make sure you can commit), and
send them in to this year's sugar crew leaders Claire Park '16 and Dana
Wieland '17 by next Friday, January 29!*

If you'd like to learn more about this regional tradition before
applying, *come
meet Claire and Dana and ask them questions about their sugaring experience
in Collis 218 this Thursday, January 21 from 4:30-5PM, as well as next
Monday, January 25 from 3:30-4PM!*

*WEDNESDAY (1/20): **Beekeeping Workshop with Local Beekeeper Keith Cutting*
3:00-5:00 PM, Collis 101:
Ever wonder how honey is made? Join Farm Club as we learn all about
beekeeping from local beekeeper Keith Cutting!  In this workshop, we will
be talking about bees, honey, and all sort of other useful products that
come from beehives.  Snacks will be provided!

*THURSDAY (1/21): *
4:30-5:00PM, Collis 218: Meet sugar crew captains Claire and Dana and check
out pictures of previous sugar crews!

*FRIDAY (1/15): Fireside Friday at the Farm!*
2-4 PM: Come join us away from all the hustle and bustle of campus to cozy
up by the fire at the O Farm! Bring your boots and go for a walk, study in
the comfy chairs (we have wifi), or just take a nap! Hot water, tea, cocoa,
and snacks will be provided- *Bring your own mug or thermos! **Rides
leaving from behind Robo at 2pm on Friday. *

NH, 3 miles north of campus on Route 10. Bike, run, walk, drive straight
past the LSC and keep going until you see an orange-tan barn in between two
greenhouses and the Dartmouth Organic Farm sign on your left!*
