  * Do you want to learn more about the culture from which Bob Marley drew his inspiration?

  * Are you not from the Caribbean, but sometimes you feel this strong urge to whine your body to soca music?
  * Want to learn how Caribbean identity gets translated through art, music, literature, and dance?

**********************************************************************
DCC is a student-led cultural organization that strives to celebrate and educate the Dartmouth community about Caribbean culture. Our organization was founded by a group of 8 undergraduate students who wanted to share and inform others of our unique cultural heritage. We welcome all races, genders and nationalities.
Our mission statement is as follows: "As members of the Caribbean Connection, we recognize the need to preserve, promote and uphold our cultural heritage. We pledge to work toward the attainment of the highest and fullest educational experiences for our fellow members and ourselves. The Caribbean Connection will be the primary means through which we pursue cultural, social, political and academic expression".
