The Council on Student Organizations (COSO) oversees and manages over 160 student organizations on campus. The 18-member student board is responsible for recognizing new groups, making funding decisions, and supporting a diverse and wide range of groups, activities, and events.


COSO is currently seeking applicants to be 2018 COSO representatives. COSO representatives are chosen each spring and are expected to serve on COSO for their remaining three years at Dartmouth. We believe the long term participation of our representatives allows for better service to our organizations due to greater institutional memory and experiences.


If you enjoy meeting new people and hearing project ideas, as well as being thoughtful and supportive when it comes to student organizations on campus, we welcome you to apply for a position on COSO. We will be hosting an info session today (Thursday, April 16th) and we highly encourage you to attend in order to learn more about our organization. It will be held in Collis 221 at 4pm. If you are unable to attend, please blitz us and we can set up alternative arrangements.
