'Art,' a play by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton

??A winner of the 1998 Tony Award for Best Play and the 1996 Olivier Award for Best Comedy, 'Art' focuses on the concepts of visual art as investment, as status symbol, and, in this case, as just plain dumb. When Serge buys an all-white painting for $200,000 and (regrettably) asks his friends' opinions on the piece, he sees his friendships unravel.
